Thillalangadi’ is hitting the silver screens
Jayam Ravi and Tamannaah starrer latest flick ‘Thillalangadi’ is hitting the silver screens today all over the world after creating much hype from a long time. Sun Pictures is releasing the film.
‘Thillalangadi’ is the remake of Telugu film ‘Kick’ starring Ravi Teja and Ileana in the lead. The Tamil version is directed by Jayam Raja. Vadivelu plays the comedy role played by Brahmanandam in the original. Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music is going good in the market. Prabhu and Santhanam play the prominent roles.
Sources say “Thillalangadi is a light-hearted comedy film till the interval. The twist comes in the second-half where the movie would all of a sudden take off as an action thriller. On the whole, it is going to be a wholesome treat.”

The first time teaming up of Jeeva and Tamannah
Jeeva is the busiest actor today with offers landing on his lap from left right and center. The first coveted offer this year came from director K V Anand who replaced Silambarasan with Jeeva in his ’Ko’ film. Now director Kannan who gave two successive hits in ‘Jayam Kondaan’ and ‘Kanden Kadhalai’ has also opted for Jeeva for his third.
This Kannan film was to be done by Bharath at first, But Bharath who has already committed the film of ‘Mazhai’ director Naveen Rajkumar could not spare dates and the so offer landed up on Jeeva. Kannan has titled his film ’Vanthaan Ventraan’. The highlight of the movie is going to be the first time teaming up of Jeeva and Tamannah.
The shooting of ’Ko’ is fast progressing in Pudhuchery and the film is expected to be completed by July. Jeeva will start working on ’Vanthaan Ventraan’ from the first week of August according to sources.

Tamannaah will be seen opposite Vijay for the first time in Sura
Recently, we have reported that Kollywood’s prominent production and distribution house Sun Pictures has acquired the release rights of Ilayathalapathi Vijay’s forthcoming Sura. Directed by S.P. Rajakumar, this is Vijay’s 50th film being made with a budget greater than any of his earlier movies. Tamannaah will be seen opposite Vijay for the first time in Sura. Sources reveal that the actor will don the role of a fisherman in the movie. The shooting is currently progressing in Puducherry. Produced by Sangili Murugan, Sura has musical score by Mani Sharma. Cinematography is by Ekambaram of Kanthaswamy fame.
Meanwhile, there is a buzz in the industry about Vijay’s 51st film. Though there are speculations that Jayam Raja will wield the megaphone, it now looks like Ilayathalapathi has given the green signal for the remake of Malayalam hit Bodyguard starring Dileep and Nayantara. Siddique, who directed the original, will direct the Tamil version also. Bodyguard is based on a plot with plenty of comedy and action.

After carving a niche for herself in Tollywood, Tammanah is ruling the roost in Tamil cinema. She had been part of several bolckbuster movies in the past couple of years and she has in her sleeve a host of big projects.
’I feel that I have just began a journey in Kollywood. There are miles to go. I want to act in films directed by Goutham Menon, Radha Mohan and Prabhu Deva.’

Tamannah is eagerly awaiting the release of Paiyya, Thillalangadi and Sura, which would have her opposite Karthi, Jayam Ravi and Vijay, respectively.

If, all these three films become super hit, then Nayantara , Trisha and others has to confine to Tollywood or Bollywood, as Tamanna is going to occupy the No:1 position in Kollywood.
