Thillalangadi songs released

Going by the success of the previous albums, audience had a huge expectation from Yuvan Shankar Raja’s music for the movie Thillalangadi. This film features Jayam Ravi, Tamanna and Shaam in lead roles. But Yuvan Shankar Raja’s musical score has disappointed the fans. Unlike his previous films Goa and Paiyaa, the songs are completely soulless
Just as it happens with Jayam Raja’s previous films, the filmmaker seems to have insisted Yuvan Shankar to tune similar melodies of original version. ‘Memory Loss’, ‘Poota Paathadhom’
‘Ding Dong’ and other tracks blatantly resembles the songs in ‘Kick’.Meanwhile, the producers are getting ready with the final cut of trailers, which will be aired shortly in theatres and satellite.

Tamanna movie in Preview

Thillalan(1)1

Embarking on their venture together with Jayam filmmaker Raja, actor Ravi and their father Mohan have been having a great time in showbiz. With all their remakes - Jayam, M Kumaran S/o Mahalakshmi, Something Something Unnakum Enakkum and Santhosh Subramaniam becoming blockbusters, they are now all set for their next remake Thillalangadi.

The film started its rolling in August 2009 and has been shot across Malaysia and various parts of Chennai. It has been completed in a span of 115 days. The original version Kick had Ileana taking on the female lead and since she had already signed many Telugu projects, the actress couldn’t act in this remake. Finally, Tamanna Bhatia was offered the role while Shaam has been roped in to play the same role he enacted in Telugu.

Well, for the first time we’ll get to see the comedy kings Vadivelu and Santhanam together tickling our funny bones.

The film opens with Shaam flying down to Malaysia for two reasons: to meet his fiancĂ©e (Tamanna) and to trap a criminal, who has been carrying on every heist brilliantly. Meanwhile Tamanna is sharing her past bitter experiences with Shaam, about with her ex-boyfriend (Jayam Ravi), that takes us to a first half with a flashback. Shaam now takes time out to hunt for the thief. He gets a surprise when Tamanna’s ex-boyfriend turns out to be the thief. Rest of the film is about a funny cat-and-mouse game that brims with fun, frolic, action and adventure.

Since Thamman has already replicated the tunes of Kick for his upcoming Tamil film Moscowin Kaveri, the producers opted for Yuvan Shankar. Rajashekar has handled the cinematography and Rocky Rajesh has choreographed the stunts.

A grand set of football stadium was erected at Prasad Studios, which actually marks the reintroduction of Ravi in this film. According to the sources, the songs of this album have been shot at a cost of Rs 2.5 Crores.

Sun Pictures has decided to release the film with additional prints on July 23.
